You know that feeling when a brand just gets you? Like it was designed by someone who lives in your head, but somehow has way better taste and access to really good cotton?
That’s me with Deiji Studios. Ever since I slipped into one of their crisp cotton poplin sets on my lunch break, I haven’t been the same.
Let’s start with the obvious: the silhouettes. They’re effortlessly cool. The kind of “oh this old thing?” energy I aspire to have every day.
I don’t have the time every morning to try on one million outfits before work, so I just throw on my Deiji and some jeans and boom — a J&J-ready look that leaves even Jen impressed at how cute it is.
The price? Shockingly reasonable for a brand that makes me feel like I’m living a minimalist daydream. And the comfort? Unmatched. It’s like wearing PJs to work.
I no longer believe you have to choose between fashion and function. Deiji said, “You can have both, queen.” And they delivered.
As Santa Barbara starts leaning into its sun-drenched summer, I can already picture myself living in these pieces: breezing through the Saturday farmers market, heading straight to the beach with my bikini underneath and a Handlebar iced matcha in hand.
Main character energy fully activated.

This cute set (above) just landed at Jake and Jones. Also will be online soon~
The best part? I’m not scared to actually wear them. Spilled something? Sat on grass? Ran into an ex? Doesn’t matter — they’re durable, uber cute, washable, and, the cherry on top? They’re affordable enough that I don’t treat them like they belong in a museum instead of my closet.
Also, confession: I check their website like it’s a love interest. Nightly. Religiously. No shame. You know, just in case I missed something…And judging by how fast the Deiji rack moves at Jake and Jones, I know I’m not the only one who’s fallen under the spell of this effortlessly cool Australian brand.
So if you catch me floating around town in crisp, beachy cotton looking like I belong in a slow-living lifestyle zine, just know: it’s Deiji. And mom, if you’re reading this, it’s definitely not a phase.
The Deiji Starter Pack
1. The cotton poplin set
The OG. Comes with relaxed trousers or shorts and a button-up top so breezy you’ll feel like a walking cloud. Wear it together, wear it separate, wear it while you’re binging Netflix in bed. There are no wrong answers.
Deiji doesn’t judge, and neither do we.
2. The slip dress or tunic situation
You don’t need to be on vacation to dress like you are. This look one says, “I read poetry at Godmothers books on the weekend and take long, slow sips of vanilla iced coffee in the garden outside.” Perfect for farmers markets, brunches, and everything in between.
3. The oversized shirt that goes with everything
Beach cover-up? Yes. Date night top with some jewelry? Absolutely. Thrown over pajama bottoms walking the dog because you’re not ready for real clothes?
Deiji gets it.
